NORTH KOREA has fired another missile from the capital, Pyongyang, the missile was aimed eastwards towards Japan.

Japan said that the missile ‘likely’ passed over its territory and has warned residents to take shelter according to local media.

The missile test came only HOURS after the North Korean regime released this sinister statement stating they wanted to “Reduce the U.S. mainland into ashes and darkness.”

South Korea and the US are analysing the situation closley, the South’s military said.

This comes only weeks after North Korea fired an earlier missile over Japan in what Tokyo called an “unprecedented threat” to the country.

The missile launch comes just days after new sanctions were imposed on North Korea by the United Nations because of its weapons testing which included the testing of a H-Bomb.

In response to the missile alert late Thursday night, South Korea’s military conducted a ballistic missile drill in the Japan Sea, known as the East Sea according to the BBC.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump will hold a press conference shortly.
