PRESIDENT Donald Trump has offered to help little Charlie Gard.
Charlie has a rare condition called Mitochondrial Depletion Syndrome – a rare genetic condition which causes muscle weakness, brain damage and means Charlie is unable to get energy to his organs.
His parents, Connie Yates and Chris Gard have raised over £1.3 million to fund an experimental treatment in the USA.
The treatment is not a cure, but could reduce the effects of the disease.
In a tweet today, The 45th Prez said:
If we can help little #CharlieGard, as per our friends in the U.K. and the Pope, we would be delighted to do so.

Trump said he has not personally spoken to the family but said his administration had.
Great Ormond Street Hospital said it will continue Charlie’s life support to give his parents more time with him.
Pope Francis also offered his affection and sadness.
Meanwhile Demonstrators outside Buckingham Palace mobilized to protest against the decision to allow Charlie Gards life support to be switched off on Friday.
The European Court of Human Rights has refused to intervene.
