PRIME MINISTER Theresa May has pledged £32 million to help victims in the path of Hurricane Irma that is decimating the Carribean.
Irma is one of the most DEADLY storms on record and has turned the Tropical paradise islands in the Caribbean into damp wastelands.
The Category 5 hurricane – the highest level for a hurricane, has winds travelling at 175mph.
The storm has taken more than a dozen people and caused more than a BILLION of pounds worth of damage.
1.2 million people have been affected by Irma and that number is expected to rise to 26 million.
More than A MILLION people have also been left without power.
Royal Navy warships have also been sent by Mrs May to help with the rescue effort.
So far there are TWO Brits reported to be caught up in Hurricane.
Afiya Frank who is 7 months pregnant (Second Picture Below) and Asha Frank have not made contact with relatives.
Irma is next expected to hit the U.S. state of Florida, with officials predicing total devestation.
