SLEEPY JOE WAKES UP: Biden Dominates Democrat Super Tuesday

SLEEPY Joe Biden, former Vice President for Barack Obama has won the majority of Democratic Primaries during last nights sensational Super Tuesday, with former favourite Bernie Sanders coming second.

This puts Biden ahead in the race for the Democratic nomination to be President of the United States for the 2020 election, with Sanders in second, to take on his Republican challenger President Donald Trump.

Things started to pick up for Biden who had been previously lagging behind in the primaries against Sanders in the recent South Carolina primaries, and last night when he led the primaries in Virginia. During Super Tuesday, Biden took a multitude of states, including Maine and Tennessee, leading to him winning 9 out of the 14 up for grabs overall. Sanders meanwhile took his home state of Vermont, as well as states like Texas and Utah.

BLOOMBERG GOES OFF AIR

Meanwhile, challenger and former Republican Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg has failed to take any states, despite some early indicators that he could take states like, and is now fourth in the overall race, just past Pete Buttigieg, who stood down from the race and has since endorsed Biden.

He had previously won the controversial Iowa Caucuses, whereby the app used to count delegates malfunctioned.

For the Republican Primaries meanwhile, President Donald Trump has won by a landslide against his challengers Bill Weld the former Governor of Massachusetts and Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate in the 2016 Presidential election and businessman Rocky De La Fuente, formerly of the Reform and American Delta parties.

BIGGEST PRIZES OF THE NIGHT

California and Texas are yet to be called but CNN/NYT exit polls suggest a win for Bernie Sanders in California and Texas is neck and neck with Biden on 25% and Bernie on 28%.
