JEREMY CORBYN HAS NOW MADE HIS POLITICAL PARTY’S BREXIT STANCE CRYSTAL CLEAR, IGNORING THE MILLIONS WHO VOTED TO LEAVE THE EUROPEAN UNION, AND STICKING TWO FINGERS UP AT BRITISH DEMOCRACY.
SPEAKING to the BBC’s Andrew Marr, the wreath-laying IRA-backer and Leader of the opposition in Parliament told rejected claims that his party does not have a clear position on Brexit and ominously laid-out his plans should (God forbid) Labour win the next General Election.
Directly asked by Marr whether or not he favored a second referendum, Comrade Corbyn said:
“Our party view taken at conference is that we should keep the option of a public vote there on the table, to make a decision, which would be a public vote, on what comes out of that parliamentary view.”
Not content with the vague reply, Marr pushed the Stalinist further, saying “The word ‘option’ can mean anything at all. It suggests you might or you might not hold a second referendum. I just want to know which it is.”
“We would want a vote in order to decide what the future would be [for EU membership]” Corbyn replied. “I want us to get a good deal and to then let the public have the decision after that.”
“So you want to get out of the EU?” Andrew Marr followed this up, to which Mr. Corbyn replied: “No…. [We want to] try to get a deal that guarantees trade and relation with Europe in the future. And if we can get that through Parliament, the proposals we’ve put, then I think it would be reasonable to hold a public vote to decide on that in the future.”
