NIGEL Farage’s Brexit Party is ready to fight a widely expected upcoming General Election in the Autumn. Alongside Richard Tice, the Party Chairman, Farage told a packed audience of prospective Parliamentary candidates in London that the newly-formed Party could be the “best friend or worst enemy” of Boris Johnson’s Conservatives.
Farage hinted that he may be willing to consider a “non-aggression” pact with the Tories but only if Prime Minister is willing to take us out of the EU on October 31st with no deal. Both Farage and Tice made it clear that what they would not countenance is supporting leaving but under the terms of the “worst deal in history” ie, the Withdrawal Agreement.
Also, Tory Remoaners, such as ex-Chancellor Phillip Hammond would definitely not be covered by any deal with the Tories and the Brexit Party will stand against them Farage confirmed in answers to questions from the press gallery. He also confirmed that there have been no high-level talks between the Brexit Party and the Conservatives.
