The cross-party, pro-Brexit Bruges Group has launched a campaign to lobby MPs ahead of the ‘Meaningful Vote’ on Treason Mays sell-out deal on March 12th.
In an email to supporters, director Robert Oulds says:
Theresa May’s agreement is the worst deal in history. The withdrawal agreement is not only unjustified but also not required. In the event of the UK’s departure from the EU without a withdrawal agreement the EU itself has put in place measures to keep trade open. These range from agreeing to equiveilance in financial services, access for hauliers, the continuation of flights, and the transport convention with the customs clearance declarations at the final county of destination meaning that trade can continue to cross borders.
Yesterday, Theresa May tightened the noose around the neck of Brexit by announcing that Parliament will be able to vote on delaying Brexit and taking a clean, no deal Brexit off the table.
