PRESIDENT Donald Trump hit back at Labour boss Jeremy Corbyn after the far-left Marxist leader claimed that the NHS would be up for grabs in a UK-US trade deal after Brexit.
Speaking exclusively to Nigel Farage on LBC the leader of the free world dismissed Corbyn’s lies that the NHS would “be up for grabs” by U.S. pharmaceutical firms, despite big pharma doing a deal after Mr Corbyn intervened to get cheaper drugs for cystic fibrosis sufferer, Luis Walker.
Following Corbyn’s intervention – the NHS announced they had reached a deal with pharmaceutical giants, Vertex, making the drug available to patients in the UK within the next 30 days.
Corbyn even appeared on This Morning with Richard and Judy last week praising the move – proving that Mr Corbyn’s Halloween ghoul of Big Pharma, isn’t all that evil.
Earlier Mr Corbyn had tweeted: “Remember Johnson’s promise of £350 million a week for the NHS? Well his toxic trade deal with Trump could hand over £500 million a week of NHS money to US drugs corporations.”
“Labour will stop them. Our NHS is not for sale – to Donald Trump or anyone.”
Trump hit back saying: “It’s so ridiculous. I think Corbyn put that out there.”
He added: “It’s not for us to have anything to do with your health care system. No, we’re just talking about trade.”
The president added: “Not at all. We wouldn’t even be involved in that, no.”
More proof of Labour lies.
