Boris Johnson’s decision to ask the Queen to suspend Parliament for an additional week (it was always going to be suspended in mid-September for Party Conference season) to allow for preparation for a Queens Speech on October 14th has unleashed the howling banshee of hysterical Remoaning MP’s and the mainstream media.
Clive Lewis, Labour MP for Norwich South, was the tip of a whole iceberg of crazy:
If Boris shuts down Parliament to carry out his No-Deal Brexit, I and other MPs will defend democracy.
The police will have to remove us from the chamber. We will call on people to take to the streets.
We will call an extraordinary session of Parliament. #PeoplesParliament

This from the Party whose leaders have spent the entire summer recess trying to work their way up to installing Jeremy Corbyn in Number 10 – without a General Election.
Piers Morgan, who recently condemned the left for its illiberal attitude to issues such as free speech, had the perfect response to Lewis and co:
Remoaners intent on thwarting the result of the democractic EU referendum are FURIOUS at Prime Minister Johnson moving to prorogue Parliament – because they say it’s ‘anti-democratic’.
Awww… suck it up democracy-destroyers.

Suck it up indeed.
