ACTIVIST Tommy Robinson has been banned from video sharing app, Snapchat, according to reports.
Avi Yemini broke the news and revealed Tommy had received an email from Snapchat Inc. that said: “Due to the violation of our terms of service, which you agreed to when you signed up for Snapchat, you’re account ‘TRCensored1682’ has been deleted.
Snapchat added: “Please note you cannot recover a deleted account.”
Tommy is also prohibited from creating a new SC account.
The move comes days after YouTube slapped tough new restrictions on Tommy’s YouTube channel, and banned him from live streaming.
His videos on YouTube have been removed from search results and his videos no longer show stats such as views and likes.
YouTube said it will not fully ban Tommy, but no-one will be able to see his videos without a ‘direct link’ and his content will become ‘undiscoverable’ with videos featuring a warning message before they play.
Back in February, Facebook also banned the activist, who was the most liked political figure on UK Facebook with over one million likes.
This is a developing story.
