EMERGENCY ALERTGovernment Texts EVERY UK Phone Telling People To Stay Home

THE BRITISH Government sent a text to every single phone in the UK today telling people to stay at home amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The message from ‘UK_Gov’ is part of the UK’s Emergency Alert System and was only ever planned to be used amid a mass terror attack or Nuclear Attack.

The system that works with carriers was trialed in up September 2019 and was only every planned to be used alert Brits to Nuclear Attacks, Terror Attacks and Flooding – but came in handy for a Pandemic not seen since the early 20th Century.

The technology allows thousands of messages to be sent to every mobile phone in areas deemed at risk.

It cannot be hijacked by foreign powers as an order to alert phones via the UK network operators must come from the Government.
