The Met ‘Gangs Database’ has come under heavy fire from a snowflake coalition including the director of Amnesty International UK Kate Allen and Lawyer Imran Khan.
They write: “All of us strongly believe the Metropolitan Police’s Gangs Matrix database is the wrong tool for the job. The Matrix is racially discriminatory: 78% of people on it are black, despite the fact that only 27% of those responsible for serious youth violence in London are black.”
The term ‘Gang’ has been ‘heavily racialised’ in London they argue without offering any proof that the people on the database aren’t actually in gangs. 99% of those listed on the database are male but strangely no one makes the claim that the Matrix is sexist.
If Mayor Khan caves in then no one should be surprised as he is much more concerned with virtue signaling than getting a grip of London’s terrifying crime wave. London is currently spending a small fortune on ‘Anti-Racist’ Police Monitors illustrating graphically where Khan’s priorities lie.
