A WOMAN has been attacked in a suspected broad daylight Acid Attack on the streets of the capital.
Firefighters “hosed down” the victim after she was doused with “noxious substances” near Brixton station.
A huge emergency services response is at the scene, including fire, police and ambulance crews.
Witnesses took to social media, claiming a woman in her 20s was being hosed with water by firefighters.
Lambeth Police said: “Police were called to Brixton Road, SW9 at 13:45hrs by LDN_Ambulance following reports of a woman in her twenties being the victim of a noxious substance attack.
“She may have been on a bus. Officers and LAS are on the scene. No arrests. We await an update on the woman’s condition.”
The condition of the victim is not yet known and no arrests have been made.
