PEIRS Corbyn has backed President Donald Trump in the upcoming US Presidential Election, supporting his campaign against the American establishment.
In a recent clip released by Turning Point UK, Piers Corbyn who is the brother of the former leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn who founded Weather In Action and is a staunch anti-lockdown campaigner has revealed that he is currently backing Republican incumbent Donald Trump in the upcoming 2020 Presidential Election.

In the clip, he told the interviewer that ‘Donald Trump is generally speaking on our side… so I support him rather than the Democrats’. He noted that ‘in this country, the Labour Party is, generally speaking, controlled by the same forces that are the globalists and want to join the European Union and so forth’.
He stated that Trump ‘should be supported on a lot of things he does’ against ‘the current Democrats and what they’re doing’. This included ‘preserving jobs’, feeling that Trump could be described as ‘left-wing’ on that front.
He also supported his ‘national policy’, especially in looking out for the ‘working class’ in America, noting that Trump had also ‘not launched a single war’ during his time in office when it came to foreign policy.
He felt this was in stark contrast to every previous American President who had ‘started wars and made it their legacy’, arguing that those calling Trump a ‘warmonger’ were being ‘untrue’ in their assumptions.
Trump is still set to stand for election against Biden on November 3rd 2020, despite his recent positive coronavirus tests. He has continually reassured voters that he is well, and able to stand for election.
Piers’ brother Jeremy – former leader of the Labour Party – hasn’t shown support to Biden either, having expressed ‘solidarity’ to Biden’s more left-wing rival Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic Primaries.
