OFF HER TROLLY: Woman demands Tesco makes its shopping trollies ‘Gender Neutral’

A WOMAN from Manchester slammed Tesco and accused the British supermarket chain of ‘everyday sexism’ due to the images on its shopping trolly handles.

The safety instructions on the handles of Tesco’s trollies shows icons of a woman in a dress with children.

Samantha Rennie, an ‘executive director’ at so-called equality group Rosa UK Fund for Women and Girls, said last night: “The idea that shopping trolleys should be gendered in any way seems ridiculous.

“It’s a seemingly small factor that plays a role in reinforcing stereotypical ideas of the woman being responsible for the weekly food shop,” Rennie said.

Maybe Miss/Ms/Mrs/Mr (Which pronoun?) Rennie needs to get a life and take some actual Rennies to counter the stress-induced heartburn that comes with the hard fight against ‘sexist’ images on the handles of shopping trollies.
