TIM Farron has been forced to apologise after he and Vince Cable missed last nights crunch vote on the European Research Group amendments which passed by only 3 votes.
Mr Farron was giving a talk in Dorset on how he squared his evangelical Christian beliefs with political life. The former Lib Dem leader resigned after he said that these beliefs were “incompatible” with his leadership position.
He told The Guardian that he had “misjudged” the vote. Labour, he said, were expected to abstain. However, Remoaning Tories turned against the government and joined Labour in the lobbies in an effort to defeat the government. Lib Dem Chief Whip, Alistair Carmichael admitted the Remoaning Party had “messed up”.
Meanwhile, the current Lib Dem Leader, Vince Cable also missed the vote due to attending a meeting outside of Westminster. Just another example of stellar political judgement by serial Remoaners.
