Sammy Wilson, the Democratic Unionist Parties Brexit Spokesman, has slammed Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Last night, Corbyn moved a step closer to backing a so-called ‘Peoples Vote’ by backing a Parliamentary vote on a second referendum.
Wilson, however, is not impressed:
Now is not the time to raise the ? as suggested by Jeremy Corbyn. There must be no 2nd referendum and no extension of Article 50. To do so would be to betray Brexit. Come what may, we will leave on the 29th March. pic.twitter.com/qfHFd3gFdJ

Corbyn has capitulated to weeks of pressure from within the Labour Party to back a second vote. However, in doing so he has abandoned heavily working class Leave-voting areas such as Sunderland which back a clean Brexit.
If Labour were to fully back a second referendum then it could swing the Parliamentary arithmetic decisively in favour of a second vote depending on the number of Tories in favour.
