HARRY Enfield’s alter ego Loadsamoney has called for former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to return to Number 10.
The eighties Thatcherite icon reprised his satirical Essex-man role whilst appearing on a one-off special of Channel 4’s iconic Friday Night Live comedy extravaganza.
Loadsamoney said: “I didn’t vote for her [Truss], I voted for Boris.”
“and I want Boris back” , he declared to jeers from the studio audience filled with the metropolitan leftie London elite.
“Because Boris speaks my language!”
“He’s a lying, cheating fat c*** like me!”, he declared to laughter.
“LoadsaMoney! Bring Back Boris!” he said.
BORIS: “I’LL DO IT!”
BORIS Johnson is expected to make an extraordinary political comeback in the race to replace Liz Truss, a little over six weeks after he was forced out in a coup and has arrived back in the UK holding meetings with rival Rishi Sunak.
His allies in Parliament are urging him to run, with the Conservatives desperately trying to avoid a general election amid dismal poll ratings.
Choosing Mr Johnson would mean the Tories could say they are not on to their third leader since he won their mandate in 2019, an argument that would be difficult to swallow for voters.
