ROGER Daltrey and The Who were a little before my time but you have to admire the style of the man in his latest interview with Sky News.
Living up to their nickname, Sly News, did their best for Brussels. Firstly, they asked whether Brexit would be bad for the rock business. Daltrey matter-of-factly told them no and rightly said it had nothing to do with the rock business. He then said:“As if we didn’t tour Europe before the f****** EU.”
Exasperated, Daltrey told the presenter that if they wanted to be ruled by a “f****** mafia” then they were quite welcome to do it and then, in a final parting shot, compared the EU to FIFA, football’s governing body which is routinely mired in allegations of corruption.

Sir, we salute your style. It’s great to see that rock is keeping to its rebellious roots.
