BIG Mutha Davina McCall has teased a possible Big Brother return when the reality juggernaut makes a triumphant comeback on ITV2 next year.
The presenter, 54, who hosted the iconic programme between 2000 and 2010 spoke about the shows big return as once rumoured host Mo Gilligan was “ruled out” by ITV.
In April Politicalite revealed that telly bosses at the network had spoken to ‘Big Mutha’ Davina to host the programme to take the show back to its ‘glory days’, in a bidding war with former Celebrity Big Brother winner and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host Rylan Clarke.
Speaking to Radio Times this week she teased: “Oh, I mean, I love that programme with all of my heart,”
“It made me who I am today. I had the best 11 years of my life, like all my babies were practically born on the show.
“All my babies were born in September because I couldn’t give birth during Big Brother and I planned them all so I had my babies in September. All their birthdays are coming up now.”
On a potential comeback Davina added: “So whoever does it… I will be supporting it with every fibre in my body. But I don’t think it’s me.”
When asked whether her fellow Masked Dancer judge Oti Mabuse should take part in Celebrity Big Brother, if the show were to return, McCall said: “ITV2 get on this, did you hear that? Oti is going in. Fancy another one?”
Davina has previously revealed she frantically called ITV telly bosses after hearing about the show’s revival on ITV2.
She backed the comeback plan and said viewers are “ready” for the iconic reality juggernaut to return.
Speaking on rumours ITV had approached her, she told Zoe Ball “The minute I heard about it, I was on the phone to ITV like, ‘What’s going on? What is happening? I don’t even know if I wanna be part of it, but this is my baby, I need to know, you need to tell me!’,” added the Masked Singer judge.
“They told me nothing, so I know absolutely nothing!”
In August Politicalite revealed Big Brother would be making a return on ITV sooner than originally planned with a massive new house on an Airfield.
ITV will build a brand spanking new house for ITV2 at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire for the “Love Island generation” sources claimed
