GYM Buffs in Thailand have come up with a novel way of making a fast buck amid the global Coronavirus Economic Crisis, by selling fruit shirtless, leading to a huge increase in footfall from female customers… apparently.
Gym owner Nattapong Panastien from the Thai city of Chiang Mai came with the witty solution to find a way through the crisis: a fruit selling business attended by shirtless trainers.
The sellers show their sculptured muscles and the team of former gym trainers was seen working hard last week, peeling durian fruits and helping out customers, but always trying to abide by hygiene measures and wearing face masks.

“We are running a fruit selling business because of the COVID situation,” explained owner Nattapong Panastien. “It was totally different from the gym,” he said.
“We are thinking the gym feels too boring something like that, when you work here you keep talking with lots of customers, you have to deal with different kinds of customers, you need to learn how to handle the durian condition,” he added.
According to data collected by Johns Hopkins University, Thailand has reported nearly 3,000 cases of COVID-19 with at least 55 related deaths as of Thursday.
