RAPPER Solo 45 has been found guilty of raping and torturing four women.
Solo, whose real name is Andy Anoyke often filmed his victims, all the while going as far as to waterboard one of them, thereafter putting a gun to her head. When the trial concluded, the 33 year-old rapper was found guilty on all 30 charges, in a unanimous verdict.
At Bristol Crown Court, the prosecutor of Anoyke (Christopher Quinlan QC) claimed that ‘he imprisoned, assaulted, sexually violated and raped four women. Each suffered in similar ways at different times at the defendant’s hands. He filmed, using his mobile phone, a great deal of what he did’. He concluded that ‘he is a sadist who derives satisfaction and sexual pleasure from inflicting pain and suffering’. The judge William Hart adjourned sentencing, as psychiatric report on Anoyke is to be carried out.
The rapper originally came to prominence for his 2014 hit ‘Feed Em To The Lions’, of which followed his career start in 2006, when he was part of the grime crew Boy Better Know.
He later collaborated with some of the genre’s most popular faces, like Stormzy, Skepta, Wiley and JME.
None of them have commented on Anoyke’s conviction so far.
