AMERICA has been gripped by culture wars and woke Democrat-led none sense in the past few years, but a gritty modern Western drama is defying the so-called “woke media age” and has become the Number One show across the pond.
Yellowstone, that’s now streaming in the UK stars Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, and the series follows the clans and families of real America set in Montana.
There’s no room for woke on the tough ranches in Yellowstone. Buckle up for Cowboys, explosions, murder, scheming and all out family wars from the Duttons, an all-American ranching family led by John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.
Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and vicious business rivalries.
It’s like a modern day Dallas but without the trashy melodrama. This series explores the real social issues facing rural communities in left-behind America.
Kelly Reilly – who plays Beth Dutton is arguably the new Sue-Ellen. She’s a hard drinking, chain smoking female boss who has more balls than the city boys.
The series started in 2018, but has had an advertising and promo Blitz it deserved as part of the launch of Paramount+ in the UK.
It’s already started production on its highly anticipated fifth season in Montana following a staggering 11 million average total viewers and dozens of US-TV award nominations.
Yellowstone is co-created by Oscar(R)-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water and Sicario) and John Linson. Executive producers include John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari and Stephen Kay.
Yellowstone is available to stream now for FREE on Paramount+ with a 7-day trial, billing at £6.99 thereafter.
