Dominic Cummings defended his decision to drive to County Durham during the coronavirus lockdown, arguing that he believed he behaved “reasonably” and did not regret his actions.
Last week, Cummings held a Press Conference that boxing promoter Eddie Hearn described as a Pay Per View event given the massive ratings.
Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner said the press conference was “painful to watch” and slammed Cummings.
The Manchester MP said: “He clearly broke the rules, the Prime Minister has failed to act in the National interest. He should have never allowed this situation with a member of his staff,” she added.
Yet, Rayner was papped breaking much more crucial social distancing rules in Manchester last week.

Cummings is widely seen as the mastermind behind the Vote Leave campaign.
