AUSSIE Activist Avi Yemini is facing ‘insane’ charges over a political campaign that took place in 2018 and the Australian establishment is attempting to do a ‘Tommy Robinson’ and lock up and silence the popular right-wing activist.
Avi is receiving absolutely ZERO support from or backing from the Aussie press while facing five criminal charges which relate to his election campaign last year.
Police are alleging that during Mr Yemini’s political campaigning he ‘stalked, harassed and assaulted a rival candidate’. It is also being alleged that Mr Yemini broke the Australian electoral act on two occasions.
Avi exclusively told Politicalite that the “assault” allegation is for “holding his dangerous weapon that was his iPhone to close to another person” to live-stream his campaign.
Police at the time were called and could be seen on Yemini’s Livestream confirming that he was legally allowed to film his campaign activities.
This comes as UK activist and close friend of Avi Yemini, Tommy Robinson, was just released from prison for live-streaming outside a court.
While the case is before the courts, Mr Yemini told Politicalite “obviously I can’t disclose much as not to hinder my defence strategy”.
The criminal charges are being pursued “for political gain” Avi says, who added that Police were “pursuing absurd charges.”
Many of Yemini’s supporters in the UK and Australia believe the jailing of Tommy Robinson has empowered the Australian establishment to try it on Yemini.
Yemini told Politicalite that he’s “commissioned a strong team of lawyers” adding that his fight was “winnable with his strong team.”
“The legal costs are not cheap” added Yemini – who urged fans and those outraged to donate to his legal fight at ‘SupportAvi.com”
