EXCLUSIVE: Massive Celebrity Boxing ‘Reality Show’ Set To Hit UK 

A MASSIVE Celebrity Boxing reality spectacular is about to hit the UK, with massive stars already signed up, Politicalite can reveal. 

Celebrity Boxing – hosted by Sky Sports veteran Chris Kamara will take place at Manchester’s AO Arena on October 2nd with tickets on sale from tomorrow. 

Many high-profile public figures will make their way into the Boxstar boxing ring to try their hand at the noble art.

In the run-up to the event, nine A-Listers will also take part in a reality-style internet show. 

Boxing promoter Darren Lamb told Politicalite: “This event is going to be something special, it’s like nothing anybody has seen before when it comes to crossing over celebrities into boxing.”


Politicalite can reveal that some of the major stars tipped to take part include Happy Monday’s star Mark “Bez’ Berry, Ex-Manchester United footballer Clayton Blackmore, Blue Star Lee Ryan, Comedian Tiny Tim.

Reality stars such including Cheshire Housewives Leanne Brown and Rachel Lugo are also taking part.

Music stars are also taking part International DJ and Reality TV star Tom Zanetti, X Factor star Jake Quickenden and ITV2 Love Island star Luke Mabbot.

There will also be a ten-week reality TV show prior to the event, so viewers at home can see what’s going on in the day-to-day lives of the celebrities in their training camps before competing on October 2.

“We have invested a 7 figure sum into our own platform it’s a Netflix subscription-style service via our partner Vimeo, which will give you daily insights into everything you want to see in the lead-up to the event as well as the big night live direct to your favourite devices.” added Lamb.

All facing off against each other in contests that could be a bit tasty before fight night, I personally can’t wait for it, it’s going to be great television.

“The AO Arena has been an epicenter of British boxing for years and years. I grew up going to the boxing at the AO Arena, watching the likes of Ricky Hatton, Prince Naseem Hamed, and in later years the likes of Anthony Crolla and David Haye.”

Lamb continued, as he revealed the ring announcer for the October 2 extravaganza. “I’m delighted to announce that we have legendary MC Michael Buffer will be Master of Ceremonies on the night.”
