Yellow Vest protesters have taken to the streets of France for a seventh week in a row. Specifically, they targeted French media companies. They accuse leading media of favouring President Emmanuel Macron’s government and big business while minimising the impact of their protests.
Protesters focused their attention on the central offices of television networks BFM and state-run France Televisions and have announced plans to target the headquarters of other outlets.
They also vented their fury at the EU:

In Rouen, police officers launched tear gas against protesters after they were confronted with missiles. Clashes also took place between the authorities and protesters in Paris and Nantes. The Yellow Vest movement has spread across Europe and even as far as Taiwan where thousands protested for the third time in a week to demand lower taxes and the fair handling of tax disputes.
