BRITAIN’s Attorney General forced Politicalite to take down an article surrounding a high profile case, that we are unable to mention due to legal reasons in an East-German style attack on free-speech and the free press.

Politicalite is now under threat and may be forced shut down and pay thousands of pounds in legal fees to fight the censorship of the press.

In addition a tweet from your publication’s Twitter account of the same date links to this article with the hashtag [CENSORED].

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to provide any information or representations that you believe
may be relevant to the Attorney General’s decision on whether to institute proceedings for contempt of
court. “

Despite the legal threats from the British Government, a pro-Trump US Congressman backed Politicalite in the fight against the erosion of free speech and press suppression after the British Government forced us to remove articles and content online surrounding a high-profile case.

Congressman Paul Gosar, who is a US House of Representatives lawmaker for a district in Arizona said: “Censoring opposing views, even odious views, is an intellectual and political surrender to fascism, This will not end well.”

“The ease with which once classically liberal societies are now engaging in authoritarian style censorship bodes ill for diversity of thought and culture.” added Gosar.

Politicalite is now under threat and may be forced to pay thousands of pounds in legal fees to fight the censorship of the press – it’s not the first time the Government has gone after Politicalite, in 2019 we were BANNED from Facebook due to Theresa May’s worry over “right-wing websites.”

We are worried and may be forced to shut down if the Government goes ahead with proceedings for contempt of court.

Politicalite now needs YOU more than ever to fight this attack on free speech and the free press. Please, if you can donate what you can to help us fight the censorship.

BORIS: FREE PRESS IS VITAL

Boris Johnson 'not helpful' to attack Jeremy Corbyn over spy poisoning

LAST Week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that a “free press” was vital after Extinction Rebellion blocked the publication of several UK newspapers.

This week his government is trying to censor a British news outlet run by the people, for the people for reporting on [CENSORED].

The letter came just a week after Boris Johnson said: “A free press is vital in holding the government and other powerful institutions to account on issues critical for the future of our country, including the fight against climate change.”

“It is completely unacceptable to seek to limit the public’s access to news in this way.”
