AN anonymous girl who turns 15-years-old in July has forced the CPS to pull its LGBT “hate crime” guidance on “trans bullying” from schools after a legal challenge, The Times reports.
The schoolgirl took on the legal body for its poorly structured rules. She pointed out that under the CPS guidance, she could be arrested for a hate crime if she asked a boy who “identified” as a girl to leave the girls’ toilets. She also claimed that the guidelines could also mean that saying she wouldn’t date a transsexual could also result in prosecution.
The 184-page guidance was produced by a teachers’ union, the National Police Chiefs’ Council and LGBT groups including Stonewall and Gendered Intelligence to guide teachers on issues around “trans bulling” as well as bullying against lesbians and gays.
