THOUSANDS of Brits have signed a petition calling on the Prime Minister to STOP the continued persecution of right-wing activist Tommy Robinson and his family, Politicalite can reveal.
The Change.org petition has reached a whopping 7,000 signatures at the time of writing with those who have signed asking MPs to STOP the witchhunt and implement Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948.
That legislation states that “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
One of the activists involved, Lewis Alfie, told Politicalite that: “I respect all the work and campaigns in which he has taken on and I have followed the movement from 2009.
“I am very proud of how far he has come and I want everyone to know that people have his back!”
The petition describes Tommy as an ‘activist’ and says that our Tommy “speaks mainly on-street grooming cases in the United Kingdom.”
“He has already stood a kangaroo trial at Leeds Crown Court and was jailed before being later released by three High Court judges pending the Attorney General.”
“This has taken five months to conclude and comes after a series of events that have taken place over recent months. These events, to me, look like planned attack’s on Mr. Robinson, his wife and three children. One attack was lead by a far left organisation who have been targeting the family home.”
“There has been eight Osman warnings put in place against Mr Robinson’s life and he remains in serious danger of possibly being killed. I call on you Prime Minister to bring and end to the continued persecution of a man and his family where no offence has taken place.”
“The original alleged offence, the reading of a public document, has already taken up many thousands of pounds of taxpayers money.”
