Parents Against Grooming, as we reported yesterday, are a grassroots group of parents in Rochdale campaigning for justice for the victims of grooming gangs, and they need your help!
However, they do more than that to ensure that children in Rochdale are safe. They organise regular Parent Patrols, for example.
Now they are raising funds to pay for office space so they can establish a walk-in centre.
This will provide a focal point for their existing activities like the Parent Patrols and also allow them to considerably enhance the support they can provide for parents. For example, they will be able to offer CSE support, parental support, self defence classes, internet awareness classes and how to stay safe online, Drug and alcohol advice and collate information and share it with the authorities and we can help families, parents and children by signposting them to the correct services.
