If you picture the Labour Party in government then you can’t help feeling that wandering into a Cabinet meeting would be like wandering into a PT Barnham circus.
Diane Abbott would be undoubtedly one of the scarier acts. Tommy Robinson has hit back over her tweet in which she said Britain has a “duty” to those crossing the Channel:
Extremely dangerous circumstances in which people are crossing the Channel. We have a duty to those at risk in British waters and to vulnerable refugees many of whom are fleeing war, poverty and persecution and being exploited by smuggling gangs.https://t.co/6qPmgxCIlY

Tommy said in a Facebook post: These MEN stopped being refugees when they reached the safety of Europe. They then traveled through many European countries who are NOT at War and set sail from France to get in a boat risking their lives to get the UK. You can only assume they do that due to the benefits and free stuff they will receive here vs all the other European countries which they have traveled through and ignored.
It is notable that proponents of Britain’s ‘moral obligation’ never appear to lecture any other countries on their ‘moral obligations’ in this regard. Quite clearly in the pictures of those people recovered they are far from vulnerable in that they are obviously grown men who have managed to travel across Europe. Also, I struggle to recall any great proclamation of Ms Abbott’s on the case of Asia Bibi who is currently in hiding, fearing for her life, in Pakistan due to being under threat of being killed by Islamists angry she has been released and her ‘blasphemy’ charge quashed.
Seems like this ‘duty’ only seems to exist in certain cases……..
