SIXTY Thousand Brits have signed a petition backing the teacher suspended over an Islamaphobic cartoon.
The Religious Education teacher – who Politicalite is not naming for his own safety – fears he and his family will be killed after Islamic Extremists held protests outside Batley Grammar School and others vowed to behead him like French teacher Samuel Paty, but students from the school started a petition to save their teacher.
One student said in the post on Change.org: “The RS [Religious Studies] Teacher was trying to educate students about racism and blasphemy.”
“He warned the students before showing the images and he had the intent to educate them. He does not deserve such large repercussions.”
“He is not racist and did not support the Islamiphobic [sic] cartoons in any manner. This has got out of hand and due to this, students have missed out on lessons because of “peaceful” protestors [sic] .”
“Them blocking off entrances did not allow teachers to work or enter the school. Think of those who would be affected due to this lesson spiraled out of hand? Teachers, The School, The Community, Children, the RS Teacher’s family and his own financial stability since he will no longer be able to land a job due to the fact that his reputation has been tarnished.”
“The issue is already nationwide. The RS Teacher has already apologised and has been suspended. Against all odds, students wish to make a statement and reinstate him back as a teacher in Batley Grammar School due to his pure intentions.”
“Join with us and make a statement before this turns into a repeat of what happened to the teacher in France when he showed the same pictures.”
A RELIGIOUS Teacher at the centre of a row over a so-called Islamophobic cartoon has said he fears for his life after facing calls for him to be beheaded like French teacher Samuel Paty.
The teacher – who Politicalite is not naming for his own safety – fears he and his family will be murdered following protests by Islamic Extremists outside Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire.

The religious education teacher is in hiding under Police protection following protests and death threats and fears that his career is “over”.
“It’s all over, he will never be able to return to his job or his home.” his father said.
He added: “My son keeps breaking down crying and says that it’s all over for him. He is worried that he and his family are all going to be killed.”
“He knows that he’s not going to be able to return to work or live in Batley. It’s just going to be too dangerous for him and his family.”
“Look what happened to the teacher in France who was killed for doing the same thing. Eventually they will get my son and he knows this. His whole world has been turned upside down. He’s devastated and crushed.”
“When he starts speaking, he just breaks down and cries. He’s become an emotional wreck.”
“He feels that everything is broken and to be honest, it’s hard to console him at the moment because that is the truth.”
JAIL BRITS WHO MOCK ISLAM, SAYS GOV’T ADVISOR
BRITS who mock Islam and the Prophet Mohammad could face the same fate as those who are racist towards Black people and could even end up in jail it is feared after a leading Government expert on Islamophobia remarked on the Batley school row.
Islamic Imam Qari Asim MBE, who is chair of the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board (MINAB), and the British Government’s adviser on Islamophobia, called for the “change in social attitudes”.
He also says that those who mock a religion should be treated like those who “use the ‘n-word’” in a plan that will obliterate the UK’s commitment to free speech and Western values.
The comments came as Jihadi protesters broke Corona and social distancing regulations to gather outside a school in which a Religious Education teacher mocked the Prophet, Mohammed.
A BARRISTER cancelled by the Woke left has hit back at a suggestion that Brits could be jailed for offending Muslims.
Jon Holbrook was forced out of his chambers after a tweet, and the legal bigwig has told Politicalite that suggestions Brits could go to jail for offending Muslims is shocking.
Holbrook who is now representing UKIP as its Free Speech Spokesman told Politicalite: “The right to speak freely must include the right to say things which offend others and if that right is met with a criminal sanction then we cease to be a free country.”

“The idea that Brits could go to jail for offending Muslims is shocking. Our liberal democracy is premised on free speech, no ifs and no buts.
“The country is suffering from too many people with thin skins who are making it difficult for the majority to speak their mind.” added Holbrook.

WHY ARE MUSLIMS ANGRY OVER A CARTOON?
A TEACHER has been suspended from a British school and is under Police protection after facing death threats from Radical Islamists for ‘mocking’ the Prophet Mohammad with an ‘offensive cartoon’.
The teacher, aged 29, who Politicalite is not naming for his own safety – worked at a school in West Yorkshire – an area with a high Muslim population.
He showed the cartoon in an RE class on Monday – but was later suspended and faced death threats and protests by Muslim parents ‘outraged’ at the so-called blasphemy.
The teacher was later named online by Jihadi-supporting Muslims intent on ‘getting revenge’ with calls for him to be ‘beheaded’ like French teacher Samuel Paty who was murdered by Islamic Extremists.

Radical Islamist protests were held at the school on Thursday with a local Mosque Imam demanding the teacher be sacked.
Imam Mohammed Amin Pandor was at the protest he told the crowd: “What has happened is totally unacceptable and we have made sure they are aware.”
“The teacher has been suspended. They can’t just sack him, they need to do their due process. We’ve asked for an investigation, an investigation to be independent.”
“We are going to work with the school to make sure things like this don’t happen.”
“In my opinion this teacher’s teaching days are over.”
Conservative Education Secretary Gavin Williamson hit back at the Muslim mob and said that the protests by Islamists outside the school were “completely unacceptable”.
He backed freedom of speech and expression and said teachers “were allowed” to expose pupils to “challenging or controversial” issues.
“Schools are free to include a full range of issues, ideas and materials in their curriculum, including where they are challenging or controversial, subject to their obligations to ensure political balance.” said Williamson.
“They must balance this with the need to promote respect and tolerance between people of different faiths and beliefs, including in deciding which materials to use in the classroom.” added the Education Secretary.
