LABOUR’S ANTI-ROYAL SNUB: Jeremy Corbyn & Diane Abbott REFUSE to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan on Big Day

REPUBLICAN Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn REFUSED to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their wedding day despite being the leader of Her Majesty’s Most Loyal Opposition.

Top Labour frontbenchers SNUBBED the Royal couple, with Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott and Shadow Brexit Minster Keir Starmer all attending political events.

The party ignored the event as 15m British households tuned in to the Wedding of the decade in a show of patriotism.

Mr Corbyn was the only major Party leader not to send any congratulations to the happy couple, instead, he sent his congratulations to a Labour’s candidate in an upcoming by-election.

More than 100,000 people descended on the Long Walk outside Kensington Palace with crowds going crazy for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

It’s no secret that Mr Corbyn is a fierce republican, in 2011 he urged viewers to tune to “Russia Today” to avoid coverage of the wedding of future King Prince William.

In 2001, Mr Corbyn said it was “time to move on” and “call it a day” on the Royal family when the Queen dies.
