Following Andrea Leadsom’s announcement that MPs will vote on the Withdrawal Agreement again tomorrow a heated debate ensued and Mary Creagh, Labour MP for Wakefield, stood up and matter-of-factly addressed Speaker John Bercow and said “you are aware that we have the far-right demonstrating outside Parliament tomorrow?”
Of course, by ‘far-right’ she means merely Brexiteers who are planning to protest in their thousands in London tomorrow on the day that Britain was due to win its freedom from the EU. Creagh is an ardent Remoaner.
This will now not be the case. Instead, Brexiteers will be protesting and MPs will again be voting on the Withdrawal Agreement which looks likely to fall, yet again.
Labour MPs have turned their backs on working class communities, many of whom voted for Brexit, and worse they now stand up in Parliament and smear them merely for wanting Britain to be free showing how deep their contempt for the people they are supposed to represent runs.
