A MAN has been charged after patriot Shane Wallace was left with “life-changing” injuries following a violent street attack in Grimsby, Lincolnshire on the 30th December.
Local media reports that Matthew Boulter, 30 of Bargate, Grimsby, was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 30-year-old was remanded into police custody following his arrest.
Boulter will appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in connection with the incident on Sunday, December 30.
Shane, 34, a patriot and Tommy Robinson supporter was found by residents after being beaten in a vicious assault.
Mr Wallace was taken by East Midlands Ambulance Service to the specialist head injuries unit following the incident at about 8pm on Dec 30th.
His family are keeping a bedside vigil at a local Hospital.
Robinson, 36 posted on Facebook with a message for Shane, he said: “I hope the lad pulls through, my thoughts are with Shanes family.”
Local Police issued an appeal New Year’s Eve asking for help from the public in tracing two men.
Humberside Police called for anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 and quoting log 479 of 30/12/18.
