CHARMIN! Woman Gives Birth In Toilet Roll Aisle In America

A MISSOURI woman delivered her baby in a local Walmart earlier this week, after her water broke as she was making her way through the store’s otherwise bleak paper goods section.

A store employee held up a sheet — cloth, not paper — for privacy while firefighters and a nurse who happened to be in the Springfield store assisted the new mother on Wednesday.

Customers stopped their shopping to encourage the woman, and cheered as she and her baby were taken away by ambulance

“You know a feel-good moment, everybody’s going through so much and with a baby it’s like everything comes full circle,” said Jessica Hinkle, the store manager who held up the sheet.

The entire process took 45 minutes. Hinkle said she had contacted the mother on Thursday was told both she and her child were doing well.

“[I’m] not like the best with blood so that was my job, holding the sheet and crowd control making sure that nobody invaded what privacy the poor lady still had,” Hinkle said.

The birth comes as anxious shoppers wipe stores out of crucial supplies during the coronavirus epidemic, including sanitizers and toilet paper.
