CORONAVIRUS – the so-called deadly pandemic that has brought Britain to its knees was responsible for just 12% of the total deaths in 2020 so far.
The figures, released by the National Office of Statistics show that there has only been a slight increase in deaths compared to 2019.
In 2019, according to ONS a total number of 530,841 people died. So far in 2020 with the final two weeks of December missing from official data a total of 574,549 people have died.
70,405 people have died from Coronavirus in 2020, official Government figures reveal – and with those numbers – it is just 12% of deaths.
This figure is a tiny fraction of the total number of deaths in the UK. Do these numbers really justify locking up the population in their homes indefinitely?
