JAMES Goddard was rearrested yesterday after being held without charge for SEVEN hours, Politicalite can reveal.
He was in Manchester signing for his bail when two officers from the Metropolitan Police turned up and took him into custody.
Sources told Politicalite that James was arrested for Breach of Bail, after the activist went to Parliament – even though James was allowed to be in London on the day before his court case.
Speaking exclusively to Politicalite.com he said: “I was arrested for breaching my bail apparently.”
“So I went to the Police station to sign on, there were two Met Police officers that asked me to go in a different room I said no.”
“They said I was being arrested on the offences likely to break bail conditions”
“They basically released me but told me I would be going to court and that I would be remanded overnight”
“I did seven-hours for nothing”
James told us that he plans to take this further.
This is a developing story.
