THOUSANDS of people took to the streets of London on Saturday calling for an end to lockdown measures in the United Kingdom.
The ‘Unite for Freedom’ rally was a protest against the Governments continued COVID-19 restrictions and was led by Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox.
Supporters of the movement, which was initially launched to protest against coronavirus measures, now also demonstrate against COVID-19 passports and what they call ‘coerced vaccinations’.
One eyewitness said: “Absolutely enormous crowds on the anti-lockdown protest march in London. These are normal folk who are concerned about their jobs, livelihoods, freedoms and protesting for a return to normality and an end to authoritarianism.”
Despite Prime Minister Boris Johnson relaxing some restrictions on April 12, that saw pubs and restaurants in England open with only outdoor sitting, and retail, gyms and beauty salons to reopen, the protest went ahead to call for a ban on vaccine passports and other restrictions. .

The massive protest that is currently under a media blackout with all mainstream media refusing to report on the event is the largest seen in London in recent years.
Abi Roberts a TalkRadio star said: “At Hyde Park for the freedom march. Absolutely buzzing atmosphere. The BBC will no doubt say there are “hundreds” here. But it’s mobbed.”
The Metropolitan Police told Politicalite: “We have a policing operation in central London today as a result of a number of demonstrations.”
“Anyone coming into London for a protest must make sure their gathering is lawful, with a risk assessment carried out by the organiser.”
