Yellow Vest protests have taken their cause straight to the beating heart of the EU beast and rocked the Belgian capital, Brussels. Protestors were taking issue with the UN Migration Pact which was signed in Marrakech last week. Both the Belgian and British governments were among those that signed despite widespread opposition within both countries and many countries simply refusing to sign.
Police estimated as many 5,500 people took part however that appears to be a conservative estimate given reports that 12,000 people confirmed their participation in the rally via Facebook, while 35,000 people showed their interest in attending the event.
The protest went straight to the European Quarter which houses all the EU institutions where they demanded the resignation of Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and demanded an end to limitless immigration. Resistance across Europe is not going away and is spreading and deepening. You can view a video of the protest below.
