HERE COME THE LOVE RATS: Matt Hancock to enter I’m A Celeb TONIGHT with Seann Walsh

IT’S the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Matt Hancock is set to enter the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle tonight after Love Island star Olivia Attwood was forced to quit the ITV reality show on medical grounds.

The former Health Secretary has been slammed by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak over his appearance – which will bag the Tory MP a whopping £450,000 and he’s already lost the party whip.

A show insider told The Sun: “Matt and Seann will be arriving together into the camp which is away from the other celebrities. “

“Producers have been planning the perfect way to introduce the pair into the show and it will be TV gold when the campmates see Hancock.”

OLIVIA’S GOODBYE

Ant and Dec were both “very sad” to see Olivia Attwood leave ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.

The 31-year-old TV star quit the ITV show after just 24 hours, and the hosts addressed her dramatic departure at the start of the episode on Monday night.

Dec said: “Unfortunately, Olivia Attwood has left the jungle for medical reasons and sadly won’t be returning.”

Ant added: “Now, she does feature in tonight’s show, which was filmed before she had to leave. We’re very sad to see her go and we wish her well.”

Olivia has confessed to being heartbroken about her early exit.

However, the former ‘Love Island’ star has also insisted that the situation was “beyond [her] control”.

A spokesperson said on her Instagram Story: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement. She dreamed of doing ‘I’m A Celebrity’ for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

“However, for reasons beyond her control, her journey has been cut short.”

Olivia – who took part in the first trial as a VIP – is said to be particularly frustrated by the suggestion that it “was her decision to leave”.

A source told MailOnline: “She’s so upset. She is absolutely devastated.

“She felt so honoured and privileged to have been the first ‘Love Island’ star to be given the opportunity to go into the ‘I’m A Celeb’ jungle.

“The worst part is that she absolutely did not quit the show and hates anyone thinking it was her decision to leave.”

It’s also expected that the circumstances surrounding her exit will be revealed at a later date.

The insider added: “She wanted to take part still, but she had to leave for reasons beyond her control, which will be explained at a later time.”
