A MAN arrested by Police after he reported anti-Social behaviour was praised in court today after he represented himself.
The defendant was in Bolton Magistrates Court, Thursday October 1st after being charged with numerous offences relating to a disturbance on a notorious crime-ridden street in Leigh.
Refusing to be cowed by what he claims is a ‘Cover-Up’ of crime by Romanian migrants, John O’Malley, 49 was so fed-up of being misrepresented by incompetent lawyers – that he fired FIVE and did the job himself writing a defence statement that was praised by the Judge presiding.
Judge Smith presiding remarked that his legal document “looked as if it had been drafted by a professional barrister.” despite Mr O’Malley having no prior legal experience.
Police were called to the notorious Glebe Street in August 2019 just before 10am after an incident in which two men were taken into custody.
Alleged Romanian Gang Member Tano ‘Udila’, 20 was charged with affray and resident John O’Malley, 49, also of Glebe Street, was charged with violent disorder, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
The case, that was expected to be heard at the end of October over five days was adjourned by the court and will now take place in September 2021.
A ‘Politicalite Originals’ documentary relating to the case ‘Migrants From Hell’ that was scheduled to air later this month will now air next year, after the case due to legal reasons.
