SOCIAL Media star Benny James is backing a campaign to kick racism out of football following shocking abuse of black players at the England Bulgaria game this week.
The move came as England star Raheem Sterling fronted a campaign to stop racism in the Premier League as part of the ‘No Room for Racism’ campaign, and that will be broadcast on big screens in stadiums over rounds of matches.
Speaking exclusively to Politicalite on Sunday, Benny said: “It’s sad racism still goes on in football or even in the world.”
Commenting on the Bulgaria game he said: “The game should of been suspended before half time, cos something needs to change this can’t happen again in the future at any more football matches.”
“I think Bulgaria need to ban their fans from even attending anymore matches.”
Even after the game, the Bulgarian hooligans was waiting outside for England fans in the forest surrounding the ground, England fans where kept in the ground a good 40 minutes after the game.
“All because of the racist behaviour, honestly black players are treated different still, Sterling as a prime example.. getting boo’s every-time he touched the ball because of hes colour? It’s disgusting behaviour honestly it’s almost 2020 and the racist scumbags are still getting away with it.” said Benny.
Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Tottenham’s Son Heung-min, Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Everton’s Jordan Pickford are also involved.
