LAS VEGAS MASSACRE: Death toll rises to 58+ as FBI confirm the shooter had NO ties to ISIS

AMERICA has suffered its WORST mass shooting in history after 58 people were killed and more than 500 wounded in a gun horror close to the Las Vegas strip.

The shooter opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Hotel down onto concertgoers at a country music festival close to the Las Vegas strip, it is reported that up to 20,000 were in attendance.

The sicko was found dead and is believed to have killed himself, on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort after SWAT teams stormed the hotel room.

The shooter has been named as Stephen Paddock, 64 who was a local Las Vegas resident. Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of Clark County told reporters at a press conference Monday morning that more than 58 people were killed and more than 500+ had been injured.

Lombardo said the police had spoken to “a companion” named Marilou Danley, a woman he described as Asian and 4-foot-11 – he added that she is out of the country.

The “associate” of the Nevada man believed responsible for the deadly Las Vegas massacre is an Australian citizen who worked in the casino industry.

Danley, 62, lived on the Gold Coast for more than a decade but most recently lived with Paddock in a retirement community in Mesquite, Nevada, Australian media reports.

Police and the FBI have confirmed that the shooter had NO ties to international terror groups despite ISIS claiming responsibility for the attack.

The brother of the shooter has also told the New York Post that he is completely ‘dumbfounded’ by his sibling’s actions and added that “he must have just snapped” but experts believe that he cannot have just snapped as he had booked into the hotel in advance and had brought a heavy ‘armoury’ weapons with him.

“He was just a guy. Something happened, he snapped or something,” Eric Paddock said.

Eric Paddock also said his mother was “in shock” over the massacre.

“Our family is OK, we’re sitting in here in our house hoping that everyone doesn’t attack us,” he said. “My mother is 90 years old, lives down the street from me, we’re just completely dumbfounded. You can imagine how this is affected her.”

“He’s my brother, we don’t have a very close relationship but we talk occasionally. There’s no rhyme or reason here, it makes no sense,” he said. “He has no political affiliation, no religious affiliation, as far as we know.”

TRUMP: “An act of PURE EVIL”

President Trump, who said he will visit Las Vegas on Wednesday, called the shooting “an act of pure evil.”

“Hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the loss of a loved one,” Trump said at a press conference. “We cannot fathom their pain. We cannot imagine their loss. To the families of the victims, we are praying for you, and we are here for you.”

Flags at the White House and across Washington have been ordered to be flown at half-mast.
