MAD DOG President Trump has told Moscow to “get ready” for incoming US missiles.
The President tweeted Wednesday: Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’ You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”
The tensions have been rising since Syrian President, Bashar-Al-Assad reportedly launched poison gas attack on a rebel-held suburb of Damascus on Saturday.
The move has now escalated, as Russia is backing Assad and the escalation has meant the rhetoric is now at its most dangerous since the height of the cold war in the 1980s.
“Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria,” the US president tweeted.
Russia hit back and said: “We do not participate in Twitter diplomacy,” Peskov was quoted as saying by Interfax. “We support serious approaches. We continue to believe that it is important not to take steps that could harm an already fragile situation.”
According to reports, U.S. Navy ships are in position in the Mediterranean sea close to Syria.
Syria is now fearing attack, and Syrian planes have been flown to three Russian air bases and Syrian government officials have been moved to safe houses in Damascus, according to the Guardian.
