MONTREAL — Milo Yiannopoulos, the political provocateur, commentator and writer, was scheduled to give a conference at The Venue Scottsdale (Scottsdale, Phoenix, Arizona) today, Friday, March 2nd, in the evening. As usual, tickets sold very well, and an active duty Armed Forces member took a five days leave to drive from Colorado to Arizona and attend the sold-out event.
Some of Yiannopoulos’ conferences have, in the past, been cancelled due to the mounting fascist tactics of the regressive Left, and unfortunately, it happened again. It was announced yesterday that due to credible death threats to the person of Milo Yiannopoulos, the Scottsdale police had decided to forbid the event
However, that was pure deception. In fact, The Venue Scottsdale had chosen to lie about “the police putting a stop to Yiannopoulos’ conference because of credible death threats against his person”. The reality is, they found him “too controversial” (in other words, not fully compliant with the narrative of the far-left). If they had a problem with Yiannopoulos or his message, they should not have agreed to host the event in the first place, and it’s quite scandalous they would go to such lengths.
Here’s a statement corroborated by the Scottsdale Police Department:
The main concern here, is the deception that went on, and fabricating police statements is quite an offence. This is the current state of things, not only in Canada, France or the United Kingdom, but also in the United States of America where there is still much more freedom of expression, speech and press.
On February 1st, 2018, protests of a violent nature took place in the city of Berkeley, California in the vicinity of the University of California campus, where Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to give a speech.
The riot, led by antifa groups, was so violent that $100,000 in damage was caused. Why such an uproar? Because of Yiannopoulos’ views on a number of topics and his support of President of the United States Donald Trump. It should be noted that those opposing groups included members of By Any Means Necessary, a crazed and extreme pro-massive/excessive immigration left-wing clan.
Born in Kent, England, Yiannopoulos proudly supported Trump’s campaign, and he currently resides in the United States on O-1 status.
