When Noel Gallagher said he would reform pop sensation Oasis to stop ‘lunatic’ Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister it was bound to get a reaction.
Gallagher was asked which was more likely, Oasis reforming or Corbyn moving into Number 10, in response he said: “Id have to get the band back together I think. I’m not having that lunatic running the country.” Both Noel and brother Liam have denied any kind of deal is on the table to bring the group back together.
Owen Jones, lefty soy boy and Chief of the Clan Corbynista, led the outrage on Twitter saying Oasis need to be nationalised:

Given the current Labourite preoccupation with the nationalisation of anything that cant run fast or far enough away it is somewhat hard to tell whether he is joking or not. Regardless, this represents a marked break between luvvies and Labour, a relationship that was highly prized by Tony Blair.
