Brexiteers should be under no illusions about the resignation of Jo Johnson. The Minister for Transport agrees with the assesment of the Chequers plan made by Brexiteers that it is “vassalage” but, in his letter, he stokes the fires of Project Fear when it comes to a ‘No Deal’ scenario, calling this outcome chaos.
Furthermore, in his letter, he says the only way out of the current situation is for a second referendum and according to reports ‘Peoples Vote’, the leading campaigners for a second vote, are “working” to secure more Ministerial resignations in a clear assualt on democracy:
People’s Vote source tells me they’re hopeful of more remainer ministerial resignations v soon. “We’re working on them. It’s their choice about how best to represent the interests of their constituents and country. Do I expect JJ to be the last ministerial resignation? I don’t.”

Clearly, Brexiteers should not support or praise this frontal assualt on the 2016 vote and the democratically expressed will of the British people and offer none of them our support or even praise.
