WHILST Sadiq Khan was fanatically high fiving the LGBTQ+ community at Saturday’s Pride parade, both MI5 and UK counter terrorism officers were working to take down an ISIS Islamist inspired terror group planning on staging an attack on the million strong march.
Two arrests were made on Wednesday of last week in – yes you guessed it – Luton. The Islamic caliphate that gifted us the likes of Anjem Choudary and many a radicalized terrorist. A 28 year old woman and a 25 year old man were detained in police custody following intelligence-led raids of a business address and a residential address in Luton.
The pair were taken out at an early stage after planning a London Bridge inspired terror attack in which cars and knives would be used by the couple to mow down and then stab Pride attendees. If the attack was carried out as planned it would have led to unprecedented blood shed in the capital.
The pair are still being held in police custody following the arrests as further investigations are carried out. Laptops and mobile phones were seized and are currently being examined by counter terror officers for any information uncovering the broader details of the proposed attack.
A Met Police spokesman said: “A warrant of further detention has been granted by Westminster Magistrates’ Court in relation to a man and woman arrested in Luton on 3 July on suspicion of terrorism offences.
“The 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested following a vehicle stop in Luton on Wednesday, 3 July, as part of an investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
“Both were arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and taken to a London police station they both remain in police custody. A warrant of further detention has been granted until Wednesday 10 July.

The 40 year old woman is allegedly tied to the Islamic State – A group resolved with the destruction of the west by any means.
As Islamic culture penetrates western Europe, we are increasingly seeing islamist terror groups pop up left, right and centre. It’s an uncomfortable matter to address however terrorism does not discriminate against skin colour, gender or sexuality. It is driven by one thing and one thing only. Islam. And this planned attack shows just that.
We know that Islam is inherently intolerant of homosexuality and transgenderism. The protests outside a Birmingham school that is teaching LGBTQ+ values to students show how the Islamic community really feels about inclusion and this planned attack further cements their position. It is because of this that Islam will never be compatible with western society and culture.
Fundamentalist Jihadists with a willingness to attack an event based on equality and inclusion is both twisted and demented. Fortunately our counter terrorism and intelligence officers prevented what would have been an atrocity for humanity but also a terror attack that would damage London’s reputation of which Kh
